In October 2003, LynxxJet’s partners acquired Barken International, a 30 year-old, full-service aviation company with an impeccable reputation and safety record. Barken was originally founded and operated by Ken and Barbara Hepner of Salt Lake City. Though “semi-retired,” Mr. Hepner remains on board with LynxxJet as a valued business advisor, friend and counselor. Mr. Hepner and the LynxxJet partners bring together the combined talents of aviation professionals, pilots, certified public accountants and business professionals with over 100 years of aviation industry, corporate aircraft and charter operations experience.

In April 2004, LynxxJet once again expanded, acquiring the Part 135 operating certificate, aircraft management and charter operations of Century Aviation, a highly successful and well-regarded aviation charter group located in the Dallas metroplex.

The combined operations group now has over 20 corporate and private airplanes under management, with charter agreements that include Falcon 10, Falcon 20, Westwind I & II, Lear 25, Citation II, Astra SP, Jetstream 31, Commander, Merlin IV and King Air aircraft.
